Biography

Frank Lattal acts as an independent arbitrator and mediator addressing commercial disputes in the United States and internationally. He has 35 years of international business and litigation experience as a practicing lawyer, in-house general counsel and C Suite executive. He has experience resolving complex and high-value commercial, tort and insurance-related disputes as well as significant international business experience working within operations and legal systems in the UK, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States. Frank's experience with complex and high severity disputes include business contracts, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, cross-border-political risk, products liability, securities and financial services, mass tort, construction, insurance, reinsurance, and Bermuda Form insurance coverage. Frank has served as Chair, Co-Arbitrator, Party Appointed, and Sole Arbitrator in US and international commercial arbitrations involving a range of legal and business issues including M&A, post-transaction, political risk, commercial contract, construction, consumer, and insurance-related disputes. He has also served as a mediator and expert witness in commercial and insurance-related disputes. Frank is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre’s (SIAC) Reserve Panel, the Cayman International Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CI-MAC) Panel and is certified by FINRA, ARIAS US and ARIAS UK. He is a member of Arbitra International and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He is the co-author of a 1000-page treatise on insurance law, New Jersey Insurance Law, currently in its 18th edition published by ALM Media Partners LLC.
