Julian Mayo

Biography

Julian Mayo joined Universal in 2020. He has over 30 years’ experience in global investment management, both as a portfolio manager and in business development roles. Before joining Universal, he was with Charlemagne Capital UK (now Fiera Capital), where he was Co-CIO and Chief Strategist. Julian started his career at Schroders before joining Thornton Management (now Allianz Global Investors). He worked in Asia for 12 years – 8 in Hong Kong, 4 in Japan – and is now based in London.
