Biography

Seda Yalçinkaya is Apollo Global Management’s General Counsel for Europe and Asia Pacific, based in London. Prior to joining Apollo, from 2011 until 2019, Ms. Yalçinkaya was the General Counsel for EMEA at Silver Lake. Prior to that, Ms. Yalçinkaya was at Citigroup, where she acted as a Director and Deputy General Counsel at Citi Capital Advisors, based in London, focusing on emerging markets private equity investments, and the Deputy Head of M&A Legal for Citigroup, in which role she advised Citi’s senior management on proprietary M&A transactions spanning the finance sector. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Yalçinkaya was at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, focusing on M&A, private equity and leveraged finance transactions. Ms. Yalçinkaya holds an A.B. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and is qualified to practice law in New York and in England and Wales.
