Biography

Alessandro Bucchieri is since 2014 Head of Tax Affairs of Enel Group one of the largest multinational utility by market capitalization worldwide operating in more than 30 countries. Degree in Economics and Business from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Alessandro is qualified as certified public accountant in Italy and is a member of the Italian Institute of Auditors. He joined Enel in 2007 covering different senior and executive positions in Administration Finance and Control function. From 2002 to 2007 Senior Manager of Deloitte & Touche and previously in Arthur Andersen where he started his professional career in 1993. Main focus areas are international taxation, complex group reorganization processes and structuring of cross border business combination. He is member of the Tax Practice Advisory Council of Vienna University WU, member of the steering committee of the EBTF (European Business Tax Forum).
