Biography

Mr. García Barragán is a qualified attorney under the laws of New York and Mexico where he leads the dispute resolution practice of García Barragán Abogados, a Mexican full service law firm with over 45 years of experience. Mr. García Barragán focuses his practice in international and domestic complex arbitrations, including investor-State arbitrations, and also sits regularly as arbitrator in disputes administered by some of the main Mexican and international arbitral institutions. He is a professor of law in the Mexican National Autonomous University (UNAM), and deputy coordinator of the Commercial Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association.
