Anne-Marie Catherine Blaney
Biography
Anne-Marie Blaney is a Programme Manager with Irish Rule of Law International. She was Managing Solicitor of a Legal Aid Law Centre in Dublin Ireland and a former Chair of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Irish Branch). Qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and admitted in England and Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, she has extensive practical legal experience in civil litigation and family law. She is an accredited mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and the Mediator Institute of Ireland, and has designed and delivered professional education courses in conflict management and mediation, tutored and assessed trainee mediators and acts as external examiner for several mediation bodies. Currently, she serves as a non executive director for Mediation Northern Ireland. Her past board experience includes the Legal Aid Board Ireland, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Ireland and Women's Aid Northern Ireland. She is approved faculty at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds two postgraduate Master Degrees in Ethics (Dublin City University) and in European Law (Utrecht University).
