Biography

Ms. Isabel Magaya is a human rights lawyer and an experienced child rights specialist whose work contributes to the advancement of children’s rights on the African continent through policy research, analysis, advocacy and dialogue on issues affecting children. Isabel was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and she studied law at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Isabel holds a Master’s Degree in Child law and she is currently completing her Doctoral Degree on children’s rights. Currently, Isabel is the manager for the Children and law programme at a Pan African think tank called the African Child Policy Forum, which is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
