Biography

Laura Perkins serves as Co-Chair of Hughes Hubbard’s Anti-Corruption & Internal Investigations practice group. Laura’s practice focuses on high-stakes government and internal investigations, crisis management, white collar criminal defense and cross border compliance counseling, risk assessments, and due diligence. Prior to joining the firm, Laura spent nearly ten years prosecuting and supervising white-collar criminal cases at the US Department of Justice, including serving as Assistant Chief of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit of the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section and Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General.
