Biography

I am an experienced maritime professional adept in all facets of the maritime industry comprising sailing onboard; technical project management; shipping strategy formulation and analytics; negotiation and management of high value contracts of affreightment; sale and purchase of vessels; post-fixture management, OPEX budgeting and fleet performance management. An avid learner - with strong passion for continuous improvement through analysis and learning - I'm always keen on acquiring new skill sets to enhance my professional expertise and to stay abreast with the requirements of this dynamic and ever evolving maritime industry. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering and an Advanced Master's degree in Strategy and International Business. At present, I head the regional shipping desk and manage all commercial shipping activities in the MENA region for Vale.
