Rodrigo Gómez Sánchez is a corporate and tax lawyer with experience in domestic and international tax law, transfer pricing, corporate law, capital markets, and financial investments. Before joining MVA as a partner, he worked at a top-tier law firm, the Paraguayan Tax Administration, and the financial services sector. He is currently Director and Co-Chair of the Scientific Committee of IFA Paraguay.

Michael does tax litigation and tax advisory work in Malaysia. Together with his team at Raja, Darryl & Loh, he has been represented clients in a wide range of tax-related matters before the Malaysian courts and tax tribunals, including those related to income tax, sales tax, excise duties, customs duties, and customs tariff classification. Prior to joining RDL, he was a tax professional with EY Kuala Lumpur. The clients he helped advise there include multinational and Fortune 500 companies, many of which were either listed on Bursa Malaysia or a stock exchange abroad (e.g. New York, London and Tokyo). He is very grateful to the Taxes Committee of the International Bar Association for selecting him as its scholar in 2024.
