A webinar presented by the IBA Banking & Financial Law Committee, supported by the IBA Young Lawyers’ Committee and the IBA’s Legal Policy & Research Unit
The session will explore how evolving ESG regulations – including amendments to the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, UK sustainable disclosure requirements and developments in other key jurisdictions – are influencing sustainable finance transactions. It will focus on the practical impact on documentation, disclosure and due diligence, with particular attention given to sustainability-linked loans. The panel will offer legal perspectives from Africa, Luxembourg, Singapore, the UK and the US, highlighting regulatory divergence, liability risks and implementation challenges across markets.
