A webinar presented by the IBA Legal Policy & Research Unit, supported by the IBA Women Lawyers’ Committee and the IBA Diversity & Inclusion Council.

The IBA 50:50 by 2030 project aims to uncover the root-causes of the lack of gender parity at the most senior levels of the legal profession. This webinar will serve as the launch for Phase 2 of the project. The main focus will be a global survey seeking views from women in the legal profession about a variety of topics, including:

  •  their experience as lawyers in the profession;
  •  initiatives available and their impact;
  •  barriers to practice;
  •  reasons for staying or leaving the profession;
  •  areas or sectors of practice;
  •  career satisfaction;
  •  impact of menopause; and
  •  the impact of family or other caring responsibilities on their careers, among other topics.

The webinar will also launch the ‘Inspirational Women’ podcast series, a series of podcasts with discussions from IBA members with interesting careers and personal histories designed to inspire our audience and hear more from our diverse women IBA members.

As we are limited to 500 registrants, we request that you please only register for this event if you will be attending.
