A webinar presented by the IBA Young Lawyers Committee, co-presented by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (North America Branch), supported by the IBA Arab Regional Forum, the IBA Arbitration Committee, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (India and UAE Branches)

We are witnessing a mushrooming in the aspirations of young professionals wanting to develop a career in international arbitration. Even renown arbitration institutes are encouraging trained and young arbitrators by appointing them. Given the growth of cross border disputes and the dispensation of traditional notions that retired judges are only qualified for becoming arbitrators, there lies an opportunity. However, with these opportunities also come challenges which makes the journey difficult to navigate. This series will provide insights from the finest practitioners who have developed successful careers as arbitrators.
