A webinar presented by the China Working Group of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) is a development concept and sustainable practice with full attention to non-financial factors. ESG is an important global driving force for economic growth on the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It has provided opportunities for all walks of life but may bring challenges as well. Each jurisdiction has its own unique characteristic in the implementation of ESG and may have different approaches in achieving SDGs. This webinar will review the main ESG regulatory developments and achievements in the Asia Pacific region and beyond (including Australia, China, Europe, Southeast Asia and the UK) and will address the relevant key issues in these regions.
