Welcome to the summer 2020 edition of the IBA Maritime and Transport Law Committee newsletter.

We have invited contributions from various countries on a particular topic, to give readers a flavour of how that topic is being addressed in different jurisdictions. For this edition, we have chosen the Covid-19 pandemic and asked committee members to approach this already well-discussed theme, not only from a legal, but from a personal perspective as well. We hope you enjoy reading the selection of articles!
