The UK's terrorism law watchdog assesses the developing security situation

Following the terrorist attacks in Brussels in March 2016, the IBA talks to David Anderson QC, the UK's Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation.

He gives his views on national security and terrorism in the UK and Europe, including the robustness of counter-terrorism laws and the implications of a potential British withdrawal from the European Union.

Anderson also discusses the UK Government's anti-radicalisation strategy, PREVENT, and the controversial Investigatory Powers Bill.
