Paris 2023 - An interview with Ambassador Mark Brzezinski
Mark Brzezinski is a career diplomat and lawyer who has served as the United States Ambassador to Poland since December 2021. He previously served as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden from 2011 to 2015.
Brzezinski has a long history of working on U.S.-European relations, and has held a variety of positions in government and the private sector. He served on the National Security Council staff during the Clinton administration, and was a partner at the law firm McGuireWoods LLP for a decade. He also founded and led Brzezinski Strategies LLC, a consulting firm.
Brzezinski is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. He is also a Fulbright Scholar, and received his BA from Dartmouth College, JD from the University of Virginia, and PhD in Political Science from Oxford University.
